Eight Cover Bands. No Cover Charge.
South Orange Downtown’s signature event, Under Cover Music Fest returns on SATURDAY, MAY 30TH 2PM-10PM at the Sloan Street Parking Lot (12 Sloan Street).
This year, enjoy a full lineup of EIGHT incredible cover bands performing for free! In addition to the music, there will be food and drinks available for purchase from local eateries, plus a ticketed beer garden featuring beer and hard seltzers brought to you by South Orange Downtown.
This family friendly event will have an enhanced kid’s zone with inflatables and activities brought to you by South Orange Downtown plus the return of the Y Zone where all activities are FREE from 2PM-7PM pm courtesy of the South Mountain YMCA.
The rain date for this event is Sun May 31st 12PM-8PM.

BEER GARDEN
This year’s Beer Garden is presented by South Orange Downtown, featuring a great selection of brews from Bull n Bear, Gaslight Brewery, Montclair Brewing and Pallet Brewing!
Plus, for those looking for something lighter, hard seltzers will also be available for purchase! Tickets for the Beer Garden will be sold at the event at the South Orange Downtown tent. You must be 21+ to drink. ID’s will be required.

KID ZONE & ACTIVITY AREAS
New this year, the festival expands with a dedicated Kid Zone, giving families even more ways to enjoy the day.
Y Zone presented by the South Mountain YMCA running from 2PM - 7PM will offer free crafts, games, and interactive activities including Bead Bracelet Making, Scratch Art, Face painting, tattoos, Kelly Bean Stem, Sidewalk chalk, Giant Blue Blocks, Bubbles, Hula Hops and more.
World Cup Zone will feature a fun space for soccer play, photo opportunities, and a chance to explore how local businesses are getting involved in the excitement.
Inflatable Activities will also be available within the Kid Zone, with jump-on attractions offered at a cost. Unlimited access wristbands are $20, or tickets are $5 per turn, with each inflatable requiring one ticket.
