Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that often includes food, drink, and celebration. It is a joyful time that helps people remember loved ones and honor their memory. For centuries, the Indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica have celebrated this tradition as a way to keep the connection between the living and the departed alive.
