SOUTH ORANGE DOWNTOWN Beer FEST

The 2nd annual South Orange Downtown Beer Fest will take place on Sat Sept 20th from 2PM - 6PM in the Sloan Street Parking Lot in the heart of South Orange, NJ. This will be a ticketed beer tasting event for 21+ over crowd. If you are interested in being a brewery vendor at this event please read all the guidelines below and submit the application form.

BREWERY APPLICATION FORM

Please note: Participation in the event is completely free, but submitting this application does not guarantee a spot. You will be contacted directly by South Orange Downtown no later than June 6 regarding your application status. Space is limited and participants will be decided on a first come, first serve basis.

Brewery Guidelines 

  • All applicants must be available for the date of the event, Sat Sept 20 and the rain date of Sun Sept 21 both dates are 2PM-6PM

  • Submit a Certificate of Business Insurance listing South Orange Village and South Orange Village Center Alliance as additional insured.

PARTICIPATING BREWERIES WILL RECEIVE:

  • A 10' x 10' space at the event

  • One 6-ft table for setup (You can bring additional tables if needed)

  • Payment for three sixtels of beer (3 different types)

  • Ice for the duration of the event and a dump bucket

  • Permission to sell branded merchandise (t-shirts, hats, etc.)

  • Promotional exposure to a large, local audience

  • Two wristbands and two tasting mugs for your team

PARTICIPATING BREWERIES ARE REQUIRED TO:

  • Bring all necessary setup materials, including:

    • 10' x 10' tent and tent weights

    • Additional table(s) or chairs as needed

    • Table coverings, signage, POS systems, promo items, etc.

    • Wi-Fi and electricity, if needed

  • Provide staff to pour during the event

  • Bring three sixtels of 3 different beers (unless otherwise arranged)

Important Notes

  • South Orange Downtown is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to breweries space, merchandise or personal property. Brewery will hold sole responsibility for any property including display and merchandise in brewer's booth

  • Breweries and/or their representatives are responsible for setup and break down of space, and serving during event hours

  • Booths should be staffed at all times by brewery personnel
